Gas.be is the Belgian gas industry federation with the gas network operators and the gas suppliers as members. The association is focusing on good working, performance and security of natural gas installations and is also active in the promotion of natural gas and his various appliances. Gas.be is well known as a center of expertise and normalization with a laboratory for the testing of appliances.

NGV Platform was created in 2011 by the main stakeholders of the NGV chain (gas utilities, fuel stations, federations of the car industry) and is managed by Gas.be. Fluxys, the gas transport grid operator and Dats24, a subsidiary of the Colruyt Group, has played and play an active role in the development of NGV in Belgium.
