The European Innovation Action GasOn (Gas-Only Internal Combustion Engines) is coming to its close, and the consortium will present its results to the public. Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions by using methane as fuel in monovalent internal combustion engines optimized to this fuel was the major target of this project. Beyond the immediate CO2 saving from the fuel itself by its composition and combustion characteristics, methane provides a path to support the transition from fossil to renewable energy in transportation.
Please mark your calendars to see the demonstrator cars and engines and learn about the findings achieved in 48 months by 19 partners from industry and academia and register for the limited seats of the event at https://lnkd.in/d3zVNzt
The GASON project has been funded by the Horizon 2020 EU Research and Innovation Programme, under Grant Agreement no. 65281.
