On 2-5th October, ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre will host the 8th St. Petersburg International Gas Forum.
SPIGF is a venue bringing together leaders of the gas community, investors, heads of state institutions and ministries, industry experts and scientists.

SPIGF is a recognized and effective platform for sharing experience, developing joint proposals, expanding international cooperation, strengthening business ties between participants, and promoting innovative products to the world market. In the days of the Forum, the participants are concluding agreements, and having a comprehensive dialogue are discussing world trends and state policy in the gas industry, priority sectoral projects and many other relevant topics.  Decisions made by industry leaders following the discussions directly affect the formation of the global gas market.

The Forum’s key event will be its plenary session “The role and significance of natural gas in the energy balance of the world economy”. Representatives of Gazprom, OMV AG, Uniper SE, CNPC, Royal Dutch Shell, ENGIE, Verbundnetz Gas AG, and International Gas Union are invited to take part in the dialogue. The experts will exchange their views on the most relevant trends in the gas market, discuss the current state and long-term tendencies in the development of the gas industry, the introduction of new technologies and innovative production solutions.

SPIGF’s convention program will include more than 100 business events: plenary sessions, conferences, round tables, closed meetings, on-site technical tours. Participants will primarily focus on the issues of energy security, gas engine fuel, oil and gas chemistry, gas distribution and gas consumption and other challenging issues of the industry.

The Forum’s program includes the largest Russian exhibition and conference devoted to the prospects of using gas as engine fuel.

NGV Italy will be the organizer of specialized events with involvement of Italian and international industry experts. Experts from different countries across the world will share global best practices and reveal their visions of using gas as fuel in the automotive industry.
