Gaseous-fuel powered vehicles are environmentally friendly, causing about 20 % less CO2 emissions into the atmosphere than gasoline and diesel.
When using biogas, synthetic methane, or hydrogen produced from wind or solar power, the reduction of CO2 emissions can reach nearly 100 %. In times of dwindling fossil resources, gaseous-fuel powered vehicles offer a medium and even a long-term perspective. At the same time, natural gas is convincing economically.
