The European Parliament and Council set for the first-time rules for heavy-duty vehicles CO2 emissions, completing what is already in place as climate laws for light duty vehicles.
On 11 February, the Romanian Presidency reached a provisional agreement with the European Parliament on a reform of the Clean Vehicle Directive, incentivizing the uptake through public procurements of clean vehicles.
The aim was to inform and involve organizations in the process. The discussion of the meeting focused on defining the boundary conditions of the study and also sharing the results of a stakeholder survey.
