Natural gas is a fundamental player in a low-carbon future: clean combustion, low carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions (even carbon-neutral when renewable gas applies), technology maturity, availability and competitive fuel cost are key factors to boost the role of natural gas. Natural gas: a solution for a clean and decarbonized transport system

Our future transport system asks for a set of solutions where the role of clean and low carbon fuel is key fundamental. Natural gas technologies are one of the most effective alternatives to Diesel in the heavy-duty sector. They are fully compatible with the use of renewable gas, thus accelerating the decarbonization process.

Reducing CO2 emissions significantly

Natural gas blended with biomethane or synthetic gas (power-to-gas) from renewable sources can reduce CO2 emissions significantly, up to 95%.

Biomethane and synthetic gas (from the gasification and power-to-gas processes) are renewable energy sources with very low carbon footprints; when applied as fuels, they allow gas vehicles to run carbon-neutral.

gmobilty is an institutional initiative by NGVA Europe with the aim to relaunch and affirm the role of natural gas in transport, a new brand answering the need to promote a new cultural approach towards an integrated an inclusive system for gas in transport.

gmobility embraces CNG, LNG, together with all kinds of renewable gases, looking from personnel mobility to freight transport.
