NGVA Europe offers training with the aim to provide companies, their employees and interested parties with precise and supporting information resulting in a broad understanding of the technical and legal matters.

The training is divided in modules that can be tailor-made upon requests. Participants will learn about all aspects related to Natural Gas Vehicles (NGVs) using NG/biomethane as a vehicle fuel, including generic training, and in-depth education on e.g. international regulations and rules at ECE and ISO level regarding e.g. CNG/LNG vehicles and their components, CNG & L-CNG filling stations, safety issues, biomethane (production, upgrading, conditioning), national laws & policies, amongst others, and how to handle this in practical application.

The training can be interesting for: Component manufacturers, suppliers, retrofitters, OEMs, fleet operators, associations, authorities, and further interested parties.

The different training modules below have been developed in close cooperation with our member, TUV Saarland.

  LNG is the fuel of the future: it is compact, clean, safe and economic. The more we know about it, the better we can use it for our specific needs.
This seminar enables participants to:

20 Dual Fuel: current approval procedures in Germany 1 day NGVA no
  Dual Fuel Engines (diesel and natural gas) combine the efficiency and torque characteristic of the diesel engines with the excellent emission characteristic of natural gas engines. After long and intense discussions a common process for dual fuel vehicles homologation in Germany is now agreed. This is especially important, as the European implementation of the ECE regulations will take some more time.
This seminar enables participants to:
  • recognize the current development status and market opportunities
  • gain get an overview of the market systems
  • learn details on German regulations
  • evaluate present regulations in other countries taking into account upcoming European regulations e.g.
  • the development of OEM / retrofitting
  • the perspective of ECE R 115 Dual Fuel
